Fashion | Bohemian

I collaborated with the beautiful Hannah Jun and the amazingly talented stylist/MUA Jenny Kong for a bohemian themed shoot a few months ago.  We ended up racing to get to our location before the sun went down.  But it turned out to be a fun and awesome shoot. Can’t wait to collaborate again.  More photos will be up later.

Patrycja & William | Chateau Marmont

I had the privilege of shooting a Patrycja and William’s luncheon a little while ago. They were celebrating their marriage to each other with close family and friends at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, a beautiful venue filled with amazing architecture and furniture. Although it was a little hot, Chateau Marmont set up some white tents to help soften the lighting.  Beautiful flower arrangements, adorable little name place cards, inspirational speeches, a gorgeous couple, and a beautiful day made it such an enjoyable occasion to photograph.

Young & Angie | Sneak Peak

I recently shot pictures for two very close friends. We had been planning on shooting for a very long time but finally scheduled it. It was a really fun shoot where we had to race against the sun to be able to get the look we wanted from the locations we planned on going to. As we were driving to the last location, I thought we weren’t going to make it before the sun went down, but we were lucky enough to catch the last few minutes of sun rays before we lost it.

Ken + Christy | Esession [Sneak Peak]

I had the pleasure of shooting this fun couple a few days ago. Originally, Christy had wanted to do a Christmas themed shoot with outdoor Christmas lights, and what-not. The shoot was scheduled well after Christmas so we decided to go to DTLA, which turned out to be Ken and Christy’s first time around that place. I’m always excited to introduce new, cool areas to couples.  It was a lot of fun walking around to shoot. Especially because they brought their dog….Bacon! The cutest dog name. I had a lot of fun calling his name to get his attention.  Ken and Christy will be having their wedding in Taiwan and their reception here in a few months. I can’t wait to shoot them again.

Tchad | Africa [part two]

I have so many photos from Africa, that I don’t know what to do with them. I’ve decided to upload a few every month. Each and every photo has a story behind it.  The reason why I love photographing children in Africa is the heart that they have. They are so  full of energy and laughter that I find myself trying to match their pace. Amidst all the suffering that goes on, there is so much joy and happiness. I’ve never seen anything like it before. I find myself falling in love with the country more and more everyday.
